  • Overview

We are in the business of changing lives. Are you?

Indian Oaks Academy, a member of the Nexus family of treatment programs, is looking for a dynamic and industrious Case Manager who can arrange available resources to further promote the success of our youth. Each person you work alongside is dedicated to a common purpose: changing lives through our cornerstone values. Nexus programs, guided by these values of honesty, responsibility, courage, care and concern, address the individual psychological, psychiatric and behavioral needs of children and adolescents.

Our Case Managers are people of inextinguishable courage who believe our children deserve more than what life has offered them. These warmhearted warriors prove relentless in their pursuit to offer troubled youth what they critically need: love. This daily mission is far from uncomplicated. As they traverse through the emotional instability of our children, they outlast numerous obstacles. It is often a grueling match in which love triumphs as the victor. This speaks to the value of what takes place here daily. Case Managers are placed in difficult situations in which they can choose to flee or to rise. And they so often choose to rise.

We are searching for someone to match this charisma and endurance.

    Responsibilities

The primary responsibility of the Case Manager is to ensure that the unique treatment needs and requirements of each assigned youth are met. This role is crucial to the success of our organization just as your influence is crucial to the success of our youth. A typical day would include providing the following therapeutic services:

    • Facilitating/Co-facilitating case conferences and client-oriented team meetings with both internal and external resources.
    • Actively participating in the development and implementation of individual treatment plans, compiling assessment materials, maintaining required clinical documentation, and reporting within provided deadlines.
    • Collaborating with family members, licensing representatives, parole officers, court officials, and other organizational parties to ensure ongoing consensus on therapeutic treatment direction, behavior expectations, progress, and outcomes.
    • Engaging in counseling sessions and therapeutic interventions within treatment parameters.
    • Ensuring completion of all required documentation standards.
    • Serving as a mentor and role model by demonstrating compassion and understanding for feelings, opinions and experience of others, and communicating and interacting in a manner that is honest, positive, respectful, and professional.
    • Protecting resident safety and participating with coworkers to maintain an environment that is positive, respectful, clean, and therapeutic.
