Provide housekeeping duties within the facility that contribute to an environment that is Positive, respectful, clean and therapeutic.
Provide routine cleaning and maintenance of the public and common areas of the Academy. Adhere to all Nexus safety guidelines as well as local, federal and state requirements. Maintain an adequate stock of cleaning supplies and materials. Supervise resident maintenance, housekeeping and renovation projects. Ensure confidentiality regarding residents' issues, background and treatment and comply with Nexus policies involving resident privacy and confidentiality rules for residents and their families. Attend and participate in staff meetings and training sessions as required by Nexus. Understand and support the Nexus philosophy and treatment modalities. Perform other tasks, responsibilities and projects as needed.
High School Diploma/GED
Housekeeping experience preferred
First Aid/CPR/Blood Bourne Pathogen, Handle with Care certification required annually.
Valid Drivers License and a driving record that meets state regulated driving requirements and satisfies corporate eligibility standards.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs unassisted and 100 lbs assisted.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time and navigate stairs frequently
Must be able to tolerate chemical odors and scents conducive to cleaning supplies and materials
Must be able to climb, twist, turn, and bend in a manner conducive to a housekeeping environment.
