As a Residential Program Manager you will play a key role in the growth and success of our youth, development of the milieu, programming, training and staff development.  Select responsibilities include: 

• Managing the development, implementation, and maintenance of all components of the strengths-based, trauma-informed, family engaged treatment program.
• Participating as a multi-disciplinary team member in developing and implementing client treatment plans and strategies and provide direct client and family services to maximize therapeutic effectiveness.
• Participating in the selection, training, ongoing development, and performance evaluation of program staff.
• Managing and monitoring the program milieu and collaborate with coworkers to ensure an emotionally and physically safe environment for clients and one that is also positive, respectful, clean, strengths-based, and therapeutic.
• Participating in the management of program resources and assigned budget areas. Provide input to the Associate Director in the preparation of the annual budget.
• Serve as representative of Nexus Glen Lake in public relations situations including professional gatherings and educational conferences, and in routine contact with client social workers, probation officers and various referral agencies and other external entities
• Perform other job and work-related responsibilities, tasks and projects as needed.

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a social work, psychology, behavioral science or related field from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of 5 years in adolescent counseling and/or residential experience required, plus 2 years supervisory experience required.
• Valid driver’s license.  Must meet state regulating agency and Corporate driving requirements.
