THIS IS A FULL-TIME TFC SOCIAL WORKER FOR THE PATH OFFICE FARGO
SUMMARY: The social worker recruits, orients and supervises the work of PATH resource families while providing intake services and comprehensive case management for children with special needs and families.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (The following list is not comprehensive but highlights the major areas of responsibility for the position.)
Remain current on all required training and certifications/licenses.
Keep abreast of changing regulations and/or licensing requirements pertaining to foster care and adoption services. · Exhibit clear, professional, respectful and effective communication when interfacing with clients, coworkers, families and external contacts and willingly share knowledge, information and resources appropriately. · Demonstrate sufficient written communication skills to generate required documentations and reporting that is legible and articulate.
Education, Credentials and Experience
Social Worker I: Bachelor’s degree in Human Service related field required. Current social work licensure. Experience in foster care, adoptions and/or family-based service preferred.
Social Worker II: Bachelor’s degree in Social Work required. Current social work licensure required. A minimum of two years’ experience in foster care, adoptions and/or family-based service required. In lieu of experience, a Masters in Social Work will be accepted.
Valid driver’s license required. Must meet state regulating agency driving requirements, maintain auto insurance and pass corporate insurance eligibility standards.
