As a Program Asstistant you will coordinate and provide clerical support to all programs and staff as requested.  You will organize and maintain resident records for the programs and ensure that these files are up-to-date.  You will complete monthly billing statements monthly by gathering data from staff.  You will attend staff meetings and trainings as required by Nexus policy and understand and support the Nexus Philosophies.  Ensure confidentiality regarding residents' medical backgrounds and treatment issues.  Provide backup support for Front Desk Receptionist when required.  Other tasks as assigned by departmental manager.


  • Demonstrate strong written and oral communication.
  • Exhibit excellent guest relations toward clients, visitors and co-workers.
  • Proven competency and experience with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Access required.
  • Exercise good judgement and exemplify professional behavior at all times with both visitors and internal staff.
  • Recognize work that needs to be accomplished and demonstrate initiative.
  • Remain current on all trainings
  • Meticulous attention to detail accompanied by strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Adhere to departmental procedures regarding punctuality and attendance.  Exhibit flexibility and cooperation with staff scheduling.
  • High School diploma and 1 year of experience in general office environment
  • Word processing of at least 40 wpm.
  • Valid driver's license
